30.72 MW PV Farm
We are excited to share our commitment to the engineering and construction of the LILO 33/66 kV substation, which plays a vital role in connecting the 31 MW solar plant to the national grid. This project encompasses a comprehensive scope, starting from the entrance of 33kV cables and extending all the way to the 66 kV exit gantry. The substation will be designed to include two distinct areas: one dedicated to the Distribution Network Operator (DNO), specifically NGED, and the other designated for customer use. HVSS takes pride in being responsible for every aspect of this project, including the design manufacture, supply, delivery, construction, installation, commissioning, handover, and ensuring Health and Safety standards are met throughout the entire process As we progress through different phases of the project, the design phase stands out as a critical component. It encompasses the complete electrical and civil design of the 66/33kV substation, along with the kV cable route that connects the substation to the existing NGED gantry. In the realm of electrical design, HVSS has successfully completed both preliminary and detailed designs, which include primary and protection design elements, all of which have received full approval from NGED. Similarly, our civil design efforts have also been diligently executed, with both preliminary and detailed designs thoroughly completed and approved.
